There is an extensive network of travel systems that are offered in Mexico for its visitors and also residents. The regulation of transportation is done by the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation. The transport systems you can find are both public and private. That is why getting around in Mexico is very cheap and can be afforded by anyone.

Domestic Flights
Mexico is very large and thus flying is always a good option to many people for travelling. There are many modern airports and airlines that you can choose from in Mexico. Mexico is one of the leading destination countries with many international airlines. These airlines always offer direct flights to places like Cancun, Manzanillo and Monterrey which are tourist attractions.

Travelling by Bus or Taxi
Mexico has continued to invest heavily in road infrastructure. There are very nice and quality roads that connect the major town and cities. Roads are still being built in the country every year so that the remote areas can be easily reached. There are three classes of bus service in the very popular routes. The executive class has the very modern and comfortable buses and only has 24 seats. The First Class buses are also comfortable and have a direct route to the major Mexico destinations. There are also the local buses that are everywhere in cities and towns. Some Mexico taxis are metered, others are not metered and others are charged by zones. The price is according to which zone you are headed.



The Rail Metro

This is the main rail system in Mexico. All the trains always run underground with a few stretches over grounds. The rail is used by more than four million people every day. Major cities and towns and connected by the rail Metro. Rail transport is also very cheap and the most effective way of travelling in Mexico.

Biking in Mexico for Adventure
People often go cycling in valleys, hills and mountains of Mexico. There are shops that can provide the mountain bikes and the helmets. There are known paths, tracks and cycle routes that go in the natural landscape of Mexico.
